The Irish Folk Festivals

Four great acts on this, the fifth CD in the series. The Irish-American supergroup Solas have four tracks, showing their great trade-mark sound. They are followed by Ian Smith and Stephen Campbell on guitar and fiddle. With Ian’s vocals they produce a grand sound with their tunes and songs from Donegal. Carlos Nunez follows on with a stupendous set of Celtic pieces, Irish and Galician musicians trading skills and tunes. Jim Hayes contributes four songs from the rare old times, with some musical backing.
