Slainte Mhath

Slainte Mhath are a very exciting band from Cape Breton, Canada, consisting of Lisa Gallant (bodhran, fiddle, step-dancing), Boyd MacNeil (octave mandolin, fiddle, banjo, percussion), Ryan MacNeil (keyboards, percussion), Bruce MacPhee (Highland bagpipes, Scottish smallpipes, reel pipes) and Brian Talbot (drums, percussion). Although the individual members are young, the band have been around since 1996, has toured the U.K. and Europe and appeared at many premier festivals, including Celtic Connections. Wild reels and jigs, led by pipes and fiddle and accompanied by piano/keyboards and percussion.
