KODA

KODA, or the Keith Dickson Orchestra as it was formerly known, was formed in 1987 to provide an opprtunity for young musicians to meet regularly, play music together and promote the diversity of the accordion.

All band members are under the age of 18, with the band now being made up of Accordions, Fiddle, Vocals, Highland Bagpipes, Piano, Bass / Keyboards, Drums and Percussion.

KODA have featured on three albums and have won several awards for their live performances including a presigious Danny Award at Celtic Connections in 2000.

They have performed at Edinburgh's Usher Hall, Wembly Conference Centre, T in the Park and venues in France, Germany and the Czech Repulic.
