In his day he was described is 'Scotland's Greatest Entertainer', a music hall performer of the stature of Harry Lauder and Will Fyffe. Probably Aberdeen's most famous export his recordings, like those of his contemporaries, are a mixture of songs and comic patter. There are three CDs. The tracks are all digitally improved and for many customers will be the clearest reproduction they have heard of Gordon's voice.
