Dunedin Consort"Dunedin Consort is in a different league from other choirs or vocal ensembles. The precision of their singing, the perfect blend of sound, the ability to bring out a solo part and merge back into the ensemble second nature to them" - Press and Journal
2006 marks the tenth anniversary of Dunedin Consort, an ensemble that "has done so much to transform the vocal life of Scotland" (The Herald)
Founded in 1996 by Susan Hamilton and Ben Parry, the Consort numbers three to sixteen professional singers from across Britain, and instrumentalists, the Dunedin Players, chosen for each project according to repertoire.
Under the artistic direction of John Butt and Susan Hamilton, Dunedin Consort explores music from the Middle Ages to the present day.
