Chic MurrayChic Murray was brought up in the land of sugar, ships and showers. Many of his stories were from the Tail of the Bank - joiners, platers and plumbers in the shipyard. Chic's fun was plucked from life and originality in style was his keynote. He often toured the halls as a double act with his 4 foot 11 inches-high wife Madie, a singer and accordionist.
Latterly Chic was making films all over the world, appearing in cameo roles in Bill Forsyth's films Gregory's Girl and Local Hero. |
