A very satisfying first album from Anam, this 1994 recording has a great selection of reels, jigs, songs and a set dance, Down The Hill; all good stuff to sing or play along to. Brian O’ hEadra, Myles Farrell, Steve Larkin and John Connolly play button box, bouzouki, guitar, bodhran, fiddle and keyboard. Brian's gentle rich vocals give a very traditional sound to the songs, some old, some by Brian himself, in Irish and English.
