Highly regarded 1950s strict tempo Scottish Country Dance Quartet. The musicians are Adam Rennie (fiddle), Bobby Brown (accordion), George Robertson (piano) and Jock White or Ed Robb (double bass). A nice drum free sound. All 24 tracks have been remastered from the original studio tapes. 20 were recorded at several sessions for issue on the Pye-Nixa label and the remaining 4 for the Parlophone label.
